We discover the mountains, maybe the nicest in Sicily, in the heart of the Madonie Natural Park. First stop in Gratteri, a small medieval village of ancient origin, at 700mt of elevation. One of the most fascinating Gratteri characteristics is the captivating views of the sea and of the coast: a real “terrace overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea”.
Departure for Castelbuono, a small medieval town full of life, history and picturesque corners. The walk goes through the main monuments (you can visit the Ventimiglia Castle which holds an ancient Palatine Chapel), but also through the most authentic streets.
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste a typical sicilian happy hour (including the now famous panettone Fiasconaro). Return to the hotel for dinner.
